Accountant

My client is looking for an Accountant to come and solely manage their finance function. This position will be full of variety and will ideally suit someone who has a great attention to detail with numbers and loves interacting with the team and customers.

• Purchase Ledger
• Payment run creation
• Sales Ledger
• Credit Control Reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliation including Asset register
• Accruals, pre-payments and depreciation calculations and journals
• Profit and loss statements
• Month End Processing
• Quarterly VAT calculations and returns
• Fixed Asset management
• All aspects of Year End reporting to Audit standard
• Preparation of management accounts, month end and Year end adhering to strict deadlines.
• Responsible for bank account allocation, VAT
• Payroll preparation

The salary banding for this position is 32,000 - 35,000 dependant on experience and comes with perks such as pension, free parking, gym membership and a brilliant working environment.
