SALARY - 30,000 to 35,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is collaborating with an innovative company specializing in robotics and automation. They are looking to onboard a Junior Robot & Automation Engineer to join their growing team and work on cutting-edge projects across various industries.
The Junior Robot & Automation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with industrial robots and automation systems (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA).
• Understanding of PLC programmingand control systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software for system design and integration.
• Basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic environment.

The Junior Robot & Automation Engineer role will involve:

• Assisting in the design, programming, and implementation of robotic and automation systems.
• Conducting tests and troubleshooting for robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Supporting the installation and commissioning of robots and automation equipment.
• Collaborating with senior engineers to develop innovative automation solutions.
• Producing technical documentation and reports related to projects.
• Participating in training and development to advance knowledge of robotics and automation.
• Providing support for maintenance and upgrades of existing systems.
